ZTE has launched a insane dual-screen foldable phoneZTE Axon M. This foldable phone actually has two different displays with a hinge in between to fold and open. But ZTE comes with a big surprise and silently introduced the new ZTE Axon M smartphone with dual screens. The Axon M is the first foldable smartphone with dual screens we've seen in years.
One potential drawback is app support as it relates to extended displays although ZTE claims that the top 100 Android apps are all supported in dual-screen mode.
Third, there's the A/B mode, which enables the user to use both screens for entirely different functions, essentially giving them two phones to work with simultaneously.
The new phone, available on AT&T, has four modes so users can choose what to display on each screen. For the stretched mode where both the screens act as one, the phone will run the tablet version of the app.
Traditional Mode: Gives you a great everyday smartphone that's easy to use and hold in one hand. Mirror mode allows consumers to display the same content at the same time on both screens, whether it is the latest movie or a Powerpoint presentation or the latest viral video.
So essentially when the phone is opened fully, the displays end up being side by side and the phone turns into a tablet, while when it's closed, it turns into a device with two displays at the back and the front. "Extended mode" merges the screen into a single, giant display. The phone features only one camera as it is foldable device.
Under the hood, the Axon M does not bring anything out of the ordinary and is powered by a generation old Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 SoC paired with 4GB of RAM. There is 64GB of internal storage that can be expandable up to 256GB via a MicroSD card slot. As per availability, the Axon M will be sold with through carriers such as AT&T in the United States and Docomo in Japan and is expected to be available by the end of the year.
Additionally, it has also a 3.5 mm AudioJack so you can attach your headphones through wired connection and can connect other speakers and devices through it. ZTE has come out with the ZTE Axon M. It may be a flip phone. It is a 20-megapixel camera with the F/1.8 aperture and Phase detection autofocus, while the camera has also got dual image stabilization and dual LED flash.
