"My heart is shattered, and I will miss my son immensely each and every second of every day for the rest of my life", Ana Estevez's statement said.

When asked whether Andressian has provided information to investigators, Mendoza said, "He has not been cooperative, whatsoever". His son wasn't with him. He was released after investigators decided not to move forward with charges. After having breakfast, he said, the boy wanted to go to the park before meeting his mom, CNN affiliate KCBS reported. "I can only speculate that I must have been attacked", he said afterward.

"There are no words to describe how devastated and heartbroken I am", Estevez said through tears, before speaking directly to Aramazd. Andressian Sr. remains adamant that he had nothing to do with the disappearance of his son. "There are no words to describe how devastated and broken I am".

"Any criminal case involving a child is bad", she said.

"To my son, this message is for you my love: be fearless, honey", Ana Estevez said through tears on May 18. "I will never stop looking for you".
