Animal Adventure Park in rural upstate NY says the giraffe cam showing April the giraffe and her new baby will go dark by the end of the week. The park's YouTube videos collectively received more than 254 million views.

"We will all be there to say goodbye", officials said in a Facebook post Thursday.

Goodbye April and your unamed baby calf.

While the live stream normally had more than 100,000 viewers at a time, it boasted less than 60,000 Friday. "Eastern", keepers wrote in a Facebook post.

Animal Adventure Park has promised to keep followers updated and will have a yard cam up around opening day so people can check back in on the trio of giraffes.

China prepares to launch country's first cargo spacecraft
According to Xinhua, the mission will provide an "important technological basis" for the construction of China's space station. The Tianzhou-1 will dock with China's space laboratory, the Tiangong-2 launched last fall, to experiment with refueling.

In all, Animal Adventure Park scored when it came to YouTube views. "The fact that you'll get to witness the miracle of birth from an animal that you really don't get to see give birth - that's neat".

April's fans can continue to watch mother and baby on livestream now.

Animal Adventure Park owner Jordan Patch said the baby was healthy and April was recovering "perfectly".

Animal Adventure Park is offering the public a chance to give him one at nameaprilscalf.com, where anyone who wants to vote on a name can do so for $1 per vote. Within 10 days the park will reveal what April and Oliver's calf will be named.

According to the Animal Adventure Park's Facebook page, the baby alligator has gained weight and recovered from an infection and will be joining the park's educational program.
