Bill O'Reilly goes on vacation amid sponsor backlash

'I grab some vacation, because it's spring and Easter time, ' O'Reilly said Tuesday.

Also, O'Reilly has been on vacation this week amid the growing furor following The New York Times report that Fox was forced to settle several sexual harassment claims against the popular host.

The Fox News host had an on-air laugh Monday night while reporting about the man who was dragged off a United Airlines flight recently in Chicago for not giving up his seat on an overbooked flight, according to the New York Daily News.

O'Reilly has always been a major ratings magnet for his network; his personal brand and fiery espousal of conservative viewpoints have earned him a devoted fan base and millions of nightly viewers. A Fox News spokesperson told Patch that the vacation was pre-planned - implying the timing was unrelated to the sexual harassment allegations - and that O'Reilly would return on April 24.

Moreover, she further revealed that the company had promised to make the investigation based on her client's complaint, making it sound fair enough given the fact that O'Reilly is one of the network's most valuable asset.

At the time, O'Reilly gave a statement to Politico denying the allegations.

Record-setting Coutinho promises more goals to come for Liverpool
The 24-year-old came off the bench to score his 30th top flight goal and become the Premier League's highest scoring Brazilian. But Jurgen Klopp's team have struggled without their star players this season, particularly in December and January.

"Other than the vacation guest hosts, the "Factor" broadcast will remain unchanged until O'Reilly's return post-vacation", Fabiani said.

This is not the first time Fox News has had problems with creating a hostile environment for women.

Rupert Murdoch sent a note to Fox News staff Thursday morning thanking employees for making the network the top-rated cable news channel.

Two 21st Century Fox executives who do not work in the news division said Wednesday they were eager for a resolution so the company could move on from the distraction and adopt a more productive work environment. 'Last fall, I booked a trip that should be terrific'.

O'Reilly had five of the seven most-watched programs on cable television last week, and he more than doubled the average audiences for his rivals on CNN and MSNBC combined.
