Mass Effect Andromeda will have more meaningful sidequests, according to Bioware

Devin Neal | 14 February, 2017, 00:57

Prepare to frequently question life itself while playing Mass Effect: Andromeda, as the development team has stuffed the game with meaningful sidequests.

We are approaching the completionist aspect very differently, because we've done and learned a lot from Inquisition.

"Mass Effect" players know that the Paragon and Renegade morality point system are one of the iconic elements in the trilogy franchise, which also made it distinct from other role-playing games. The new approach to side quests will hopefully engage the player in these smaller stories.

And it was very important for us that the quantity of scope doesn't downgrade the quality of whatever your are doing there.

Ahead of the release of Mass Effect Andromeda, Bioware are finally starting to look up from their position in the naughty corner as if to say, "Is it okay to come back?" Moreover, Mass Effect Andromeda has a tendency to keep away from simply that since it will take cues from The Witcher 3.

The latest Mass Effect Andromeda news is that this has moved to the next phase of planning, with BioWare confirming that beta registration has now closed. BioWare has confirmed that beta registrations (multiplayer tech test) have closed. That seemed a bit light from the company who brought you likes of Baldur's Gate or even Dragon Age: Origins barely a decade earlier.

With Mass Effect Andromeda not released yet, we can't be certain with the meaning of the statement.

"Yes!" comes the cry from fans, as the sting of Mass Effect 3's ending has long since faded, and we're more than up for galavanting across the galaxy with a merry band of interspecies badasses once again. With those descriptions, it is no wonder some fans have been pestering "Mass Effect: Andromeda's" staff on social media to find out if Jaal can have sex in the game.
